Yuknoh

By Nabeel Khalid

About

Yuknoh takes inspiration from the First Nation tribes of Canada. It draws on the sharp clean glyphs in the First Nation languages.

Taking inspiration from the artwork and languages of the First Nations I tried to create each glyph as a work of art. This created a highly decorative font which demands attention. The letter forms do not follow the conventional rules of type design and this allows each glyph to be unique.

I hope you enjoy using Yuknoh as much as I did when designing it. This font was designed over a period of 4 months.
